Changed my brake pads today to standard Apec as they were all I could get on short notice after one of my *GreenStuff* pads disintegrated yesterday. Luckily I was only doing around 20mph and no damage was caused (other than a little scoring on the disk. E-mail:

First update for 2002: This weekend I installed a pair of Infinity 3025cf (3.5") speakers into the dash to replace the standard tweeters. Instillation of the passenger side was easy but the drivers side was a bit harder as there is less mounting space around the holes. This required the creation of a small slit to feed one of the mounting arms of the speaker into so that it could be lowered into place. This is a surpassingly hard thing to create (considering the mess that a radio thief made of the dash by just ripping the radio out) a Stanley knife just wouldn't cut it (pun intended but not required) so a flat headed screwdriver and hammer were required. Some new photos added (thanks to a new digital camera that has better low light capabilities than my old one.) As normal the new photos are at the end of run in the Gallery and My Polo sections. They feature 2 photos of my speakers (in cut-out form) and 2 of the additional lighting. Happy New Year. E-mail:

VWNW Today. Rain reduced attendance a bit from last year a shame as it was light and periodic. There also seamed to be fewer trade stands. Bumped into Dan and Jim from Awesome and came across www.vwpoloclub.co.uk Purchased a Wolfsburg crest and fitted it with a little modification to the front grill. E-mail:
